Drug Rehab

Drug rehab, short for drug rehabilitation is a center that provides treatment for addictions to substances such as drugs and alcohol. There is a wide range of drug rehab types which offers assistance with treatment. Some programs include residential in-patient treatment, out-patient, support groups, aftercare centers, and sober living homes.

Recovery of physical addictions involves a drug detoxification program before rehab begins, as to get through severe withdrawal syndrome symptoms brought-on by continuous use of physically addictive substances, such as alcohol, tranquilizers, heroin or other opiates.

There are many drug rehab centers offered in the U.S. and each program can differ significantly in approach and in rehabilitation methods.
